the problem with this analysis is that the writers of this article don't know anything about football ; so one bad decision lead others to believe a bad decision is a good decision, wrong way so of course. coaches in general do not like Tebow because he is morally superior to them. therefore they want an excuse to get rid of them, and of course they have to base it on his talent and so they they create fiction about him. as they say two wrongs don't make a right, likewise, fiction upon fiction doesn't that make fact. You see,most young athletes have limited options apart from their sport,and the coaches know it,and depend on that neediness to make themselves the authority,and the player to be the subservient. In Tebow's case,he's well-known,intelligent outside of athletics,has a purpose in life outside of football,;and even already has more worldly travel experience than many coaches. It makes coaches feel insecure. Not to mention the fact that he attracts a media circus when he's on a team . Coaches & owners like to think they are helping a needy young person. They don't feel that with Tebow. They feel insecure & even morally second-class to Tebow. It all adds up to "them" not really wanting Tebow to be around them,even if he was the greeatest thing since the hula-hoop. And he IS A good player! The passing problem is just an excuse they manufacuted. Tebow is "TOO GOOD 4 his own good". He needs to become a full-time preacher/missionary,and say goodbye to football.

Let's face it. Chip Kelly had NO SINCERE INTENTION of keeping Tebow. And what tipped me off is the fact that despite all the media sounding as if Tebow was doing good and looked like he might make the team...and Chip Kelly waiting until the last minute to make the cut...a few weeks...maybe a month prior I was listening to Roger Lodge on 830am Angels baseball radio here in Los Angeles. And Roger said decisively that "this cat" (referring to Tebow) won't make the team.
He said it with such authority I thought he was just being cocky, and was hoping to see Tebow make the team at which point I would send an email to Roger Lodge about it. But Lodge was right. And I don't think he was right because he is so super-intelligent and savvy about Tebow and football (Lodge is a baseball man, but dabbles in all sports in general in daily news). It tipped me off that Lodge had inside knowledge. And if he already knew that Tebow wouldn't make it about a month prior , then we know that Tebow was not actually playing to prove himself. He was being toyed with by Chip Kelly (maybe et al).
Maybe Eagles management gave Kelly orders to "give the kid a tryout" or something. Maybe Kelly himself decided to do it for the sake of media attention. Whatever the case may be. It was a simple, subtle, statement by Roger Lodge here in L.A. that tipped me off that something was contrived about this whole Tebow tryout.

HOW TEBOW GOT A NEW ARM (maybe): "Tim Tebow, reinvented" (usaToday)...although Tebow may have some mechanical issues,let's be honest that there seems to have been some discrimination against him because of his outspoken Christian faith.He was 7-4 with the Broncos. & He was never truly given a chance to play for the Jets.& it seemed like the Patriots tryout was all for show. It was better that he left New England even if they had offered him a contract. He would never replace Tom Brady,and would simply be a 3rd or 4th string benchwarming quarterback. That's NOT what he wants. He wants to be the real deal,the starting QB,and he deserves at least 1 full season to show he can do it,regardless of throwing mechanics. Its about who can lead a team to the superbowl,not about throwing pretty passes. What happened to people? Old school footbal was not about being pretty,but about winning,even if its an ugly win. If people just want a pretty passer,they can go watch women play football in their lingerie.As for me,I want to watch a spirit-filled team play football,even if its ugly ball.
