video 4/25/15 TIM TEBOW SPEAKING IN YORBA LINDA,CA (@FriendsChurch)

4/25/15 TIM TEBOW SPEAKING IN YORBA LINDA,CA (@FriendsChurch),this is at the end of the program,;he spoke about his childhood (he mentioned growing up on a farm in Jacksonville,FL;I thought he grew up as a missionary kid in Philippines, but he seemed to. suggest his first time in Philippines was at age 15 on  a mission trip;he talked about being very competitive as a child before he really started living as a Christian,;as he aged & grew in faith he became more conscientious of exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit;mentioned putting a Bible verse under eyes in college (initially from Philippians),which later he changed to John 3.16 and that at one point one of the verses got 90million hits (google searches) during a game.Later in the NFL during the Broncos-Steelers playoff game (also known as the "John3.16 game") there were numerous statistics that had some sort of parallel to the number 316 (see wiki);most of the presentation was him sitting in a chair with the pastor/interviewer (apparently an Alabama alumnus) prompting Timmy with questions, which he would then answer& elaborate upon in an evangelical manner. He didn't talk about any of the pro football setbacks,or his new team the Eagles. Most of it was about his faith, some challenges, encouraging us in the audience,a few jokes, and a few video clips (including the touchdown pass Tebow threw on 1st down,1st play In overtime to win the John 3.16 game v steelers). Nice presentation, although I didn't appreciate the ticket people working outside yelling to those of us who bought "discount tickets" (as opposed to the vip tickets or whatever they called them) needed to walk up the stairs...(I don't think $20 tickets are a discount;maybe they are lower price than the $30 tickets but that's not a discount). We pray for Timmy as he will be trying out for a new team,to keep his Priorities straight, and do his best but not worry about controlling the outcome;but trusting God who will use him as He so plans.
